Architect and landscape architect, PHD in Landscape Architecture and researcher, she is contract professor at the Interfaculty Master in Landscape Architecture of the University of Florence and member of the Research Unit “Architettura e Archeologie dei Paesaggi della Produzione” (IUAV University, Venice).
Registered member of AIAPP (Italian Association of Landscape Architecture), she has been working since 1997 as landscape architect, mostly in active conservation and design of historical sites and gardens.  As researcher, since 2000 she has been working with several research groups (Università Internazionale dell’Arte, Universities of Florence, Perugia, Venice) investigating topics in landscape architecture, especially regarding historical gardens and archaeological landscapes and she wrote more than 60 contributes about these themes. She is author of the monographic book  "Paesaggi del tempo. Documenti archeologici e rovine artificiali nel disegno di giardini e paesaggi", published in 2009 with Alinea Press in Florence.
